Nattè is a flat loop pile handwoven on a four-harness horizontal loom where the weft is knotted directly onto the warp creating a firm texture. This weaving technique consisting of a specific type of weave pattern and unique interlacing structure, has been integral part of human history, dating back thousands of years. In the Nattè weave, each weft yarn passes over and under an equal number of warp yarns, creating a symmetrical structure and allowing for the creation of a balanced pattern. The Nattè rug collection exemplify the timeless beauty of an ancient yet simple interlaced pattern adding sophistication and visual interest to the textile. Nattè is available in our 48 signature colors among Wool and Linen. Custom colors and sizes are available on request through our bespoke program. Nattè can also be customized with embroideries that can either be part of the design of the rug or become an actual functional stitching to combine two or more panels when the required rug dimensions exceed the width of the loom. Upon request, borders can also be customized and decorated with fringes.
